Last night, Tey’s friend Tyrone let the cat of the bag when he uploaded a three-part clip from her audition tape on his Instagram. According to him, Tey sent in her audition tapes for the Aaliyah role but withdrew her bid once she found out the Haughton family were not involved with the project.
I know teyana is gona be mad at me for posting her audition clips but i honestly feel no one deserves this role more then her . She embraces Aaliyah dancing , acting and singing. (Which I’ll be posting all 3parts) but unfortunately @teyanataylor heard that Aaliyah’s family isn’t involved & she no longer wanted to be apart of the film.
Teyana doesn't even look an smidge like her. Zendaya has the look and the moves, I prefer her. Castings are usually not who we idealize it to be and I'm not gonna whine about it because I don't even know Zendaya's ability.
