He had so much material for C5 that he decided to turn it into two albums. “I went to work on Tha Carter V and I don’t stop working, so it was either Tha Carter V gonna be 93 songs or we gonna have to figure this out,” he explained.

I literally just was saying Wayne should put the Carter V on iTunes for preorder and just release singles whenever he wanted like Ed Sheeran is doing.

EXCEPT... don't give a tracklist. Just release singles as you please and fill in the tracklist. Whatever doesnt make the album is a bonus track. There's no limit to how long an iTunes album has to be.

I think he should spread them a bit further apart though. With Justin Timberlake last year, I felt there were more potential hits on the first release like Don't Hold the Wall, but he released more songs at the end of the year, so I felt like he might have wasted it a bit.

I hope he doesn't release both albums THIS YEAR.
