Madonna's career is virtually impossible to duplicate. I mean everything she did from 1983 up until 2002 in particular was downright breathtaking. That's almost 20 years of perfection. No other pop girl has come close.

Gaga has already faltered after only 6 years in the business.

i also thought that but somehow the masses were here for DWUW and even G.U.Y looking at its Youtube stats. not many pop girls could pull a DWUW - Platinum without a video, great radio support. it could've turned the entire ARTPOP era around.

To think that 6 years into Madonna's career she released the Like A Prayer album, one of the most successful and iconic eras in pop music.

When she first burst into the scene I thought to myself :"Here's one that can really follow in Madonna's steps" - success wise, I mean.
Obviously she referenced Madonna a lot in her videos and performances but even with that you could see the raw talent in that girl.
All that started to change (to me) when she released BTW. Somehow, all that success, fame and recognition seemed to affect her in a bad way .
Her over the top persona ruined it all for me.
I really thought that after all the backlash she got from the BTW era she would get her act together and do not make the same mistakes once Artpop was released.
Little did I know, she got eben worse IMO as not only she kept her obsession with being 'taken serious as a true artist and musician' but also had the need to "explain" the meaning behind her album, songs, videos, performances , etc.
It went completely downhill in a very short time frame, it's amazing, and it's all her fault IMO.

Like I've said a few times already, I still have faith in her as she's obviously a very talented girl .

I really don't think she'll EVER be known as the "Queen Of Pop" tho, as it takes a lot to be deserved of such title (especially when who holds it is someone like Madonna) , but Gaga can really become very successful once again . It's up to her and only her !
