First of all, she makes the confusion between
end-stage concert capacities and center-stage.
The BB&T Center capacity is 13k. Just to compare with some other
sold-out crowds in this arena :
- Lady Gaga, artRAVE The ARTPOP Ball : 12,977.
- Justin Timberlake, The 20/20 Experience World Tour : 12,629.
- Beyoncé, The Mrs Carter Show World Tour : 12,269.
- Cher, Dressed To Kill Tour : 12,178.
Like the BB&T Center, the Rexall Place doesn't have a capacity of 15,000 for end-stage concert. It's usually more than 13,000 and less than 14,000. Gaga had a bigger attendance there than Justin Bieber or some other artists that have sell-out there.
« However, her 14,866 / 14,866 “sold” out figures for the Verizon Center is a complete lie, given that the venue holds almost 20,000 seats and past concerts have sold over 17,000 seats. »
This is one of the most ridiculous information. 17,000 seats for an end stage concert in Washington*? No. The capacity is 15k and you'll never see an artist playing for more there. P!nk did 15,209 last time, it's one of the biggest attendances there.
The Philips Arena has
usually a capacity of around 13k. The same for the Xcel Energy Center. And the Joe Louis Arena 15k. But this is the maximum capacity for end-stage concerts with side-view seats sold, etc.
« You would think that the Mohagan Sun Arena is really small since, according to Live Nation and Billboard, Gaga sold out by selling 7,722 tickets. Unfortunately, the arena can hold at least 10,000 seats for a concert. »
Unfortunately, the arena has a capacity of 7,5k and Gaga did more because it was another 100% sold-out show.
Other sold-out crowds there :
- Beyoncé, The Mrs Carter Show : 7,473
- Cher, Dressed To Kill Tour : 7,022
- P!nk, The Truth About Love Tour : 5,789
Billboard reported yesterday a total of 14 Lady Gaga shows, in which 9 were completely packed : Fort Lauderdale, Washington, New York City, Philadelphia, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and San Diego. Let me tell you, that « the capacity » as Billboard call it, is only the tickets that have been put on sale because the capacities are different for every artist. It depends on the configuration, the size of the stage and the tickets on sale.
This girl is such a mess.
