Lana is doing well, so? It was expected and you all know it.

No matter if she sells 200k and Sam only 150k because that won't change the fact that he's doing extremely well for a debut era. It's something you rarely see, someone debuting with such strong sales. Especially someone who the US public didn't know about until the last 3 months (and large parts still have to get to know him). Don't come with promo as JLo has lots of promo this week too.

People coming with Lana longevity need to be quiet as just wait two three months and talk then. BTD had and has longevity but because of the unique sound. I love Lana's album, prefer Sam's, as I recently posted in her album thread but her stans need to cool it down a bit. Losing against a newcomer would've been embarrassing, so her debuting at No.1 and with a healthy lead is nothing but an expected thing.

I was more of saying:
Sam is doing great considering he's a new artist making big noise with his music and thus managing to get a big 100+k debut release.
Lana is doing great because West Coast made a small dent and she's relying on her fanbase and general buzz.
Linkin Park is doing great because their lead single was completely ignored by Alternative radio; which normally has been an important springboard towards getting the rock general artist out to buy the album along with the diehard fans.
