I don't even get the point of this thread,Jay Z is a hip pop legend,eventhough Bey is currently bigger than him,before he started dating Beyonce most people didn't even know who he was,the classified him as your average hood rapper,but thanks to Beyonce all that has changed.

Well duh, Bey was still a teenager in the 90s and barely over 21 in the early 00s. But her overall career is bigger than his. And her net worth has caught up to his at only 32yrs old.

He has about 12 albums to Bey's 5 albums and if you include DC, Bey has sold over 60 million albums so she outsold him in albums too. Bey upgraded Jay, he wouldn't be invited to the White House or to the Oscars and Golden Globe awards etc if it weren't for Bey. She brought him more mainstream attention. And her net worth has caught up to his as well and her tours outgross his. He's never had a solo tour grossing over $100 million, let alone 237 million like Bey.

The point was that Jay Z was big even before his relationship with Bey, and we can't be sure if Jay z wouldn't have been invited to both events without Bey. And lastly rappers are never great at touring but yeah I agree Bey is bigger.

Everyone loves him because of Beyonce....if he is bigger than her she made it that way
