I knew EA was gonna be ****ing annoying when I saw them ugly screenshots. I have every Sims 2 game, if I want to play that I'll go install it not play V2.
Kind of... You'll need a loading screen for every lot, cause only 1 lot can be active at time. However, the streets and public areas such as parks and that stuff of the neighborhood will be loaded for every lot. And they story progression will continue to be active for the whole world, not just the lot you loaded.

so people from other lots other than the 5 that are active will NOT age while you do? What if you're boyfriend lives there? mess
Looks like they want Sims 1 and 2 nostalgia. Hopefully it works out for them, TS3 didn't really get good reviews compared to them. I can see why they'd want to distance themselves.
Fans didn't seem to love Ts3, so I can see why they went back...but that was still a mistake. Seems like they've taken some of the best features from TS3 and removed them, which wasn't really necessary.
