but is it important to you? before i never too much cared about gay marriage rights, ( still was hoping itd get overturned though) but now i care more and more.

I've always been very domestic and a one-on-one type of man, never been the type to mess around with many, I've very nit picky. It used to mean a lot to me but as I grow older (I turn 22 in 2 1/2 weeks), marriage isn't as important because I know the idea can backfire in many ways. People think marriage is the happiest moment of a persons love life but a lot of people don't realize the amount of pressure it can put on a relationship, especially if the relationship is using marriage as a crutch or a reason to save something in it.

Nevertheless, it is still a huge dream of mine to marry a beautiful short boy with as much yearning for domestic bliss as I. Oh, the fantasies

I don't see myself getting married and if I do, they're signing a pre-nup.

I would much rather co-parent with a female best friend of mine though. Someone who I know is 100% going to be in my life and be my best friend forever. Sex, love, monogamy and a relationship can complicate all that. Plus that way she'd get to have multiple relationships through the rest of her life and I'd get to have multiple relationships/casual sex for the rest of my life. It'd probably get mad complicated if one of us (probably her) got into a really serious relationship with a guy though.

Not priority, but a distant goal.

It's very important to me, once I'm established and stuff and not for another 10 years at least. I'm traditional that way, I'm saving myself for marriage and like I just believe it's a big deal but it depends on how I feel with committing to only a woman for the rest of my life. Ideally, I'll be a single father but not aslong as I live in the middle east.

Yes, marriage is important to me. Marriage to me is more of a milestone or a checkpoint than a religious ceremony or religious significance. It signifies my readiness for both wifehood and motherhood.

My 7 year relationship led to a proposal, but I didn't say "Yes" because I was not ready to commit myself to responsibilities I knew were above me at the time.

I do feel that I'm ready to settle down now and I love the thought of having my own child, but I am only willing to cross that intersection with the guy I turned down 3 years ago.
