Not at all, but don't think that means I won't defend myself or the LGBT community. I really hate how "I just don't let my sexuality define me" has become the go-to phrase for apologists.
Well being gay has probably made me think much more openly about everyone's differences and to just accept them for how it is Besides that I don't let my sexuality dictate the things I do (I think )
Well, I'm straight so I never really have to think about my sexuality because I'm not reminded of it everyday since its "normal" and I dont experience homophobia. I can see why some people would make it a big part of themselves, especially if they're discriminated against, the same way as being black is a part of me.
I don't let it define me, but at the same time I don't hide it. Obviously I don't introduce myself saying, "Hi I'm bisexual nice to meet you", but I am proud of my sexuality.
