As a general fan of Ke$ha and someone that liked the album upon its release I can honestly say that people (especially some fans) do way too much in romanticizing how good Warrior
actually is. Its not a bad record per say, but its really not that great and compared to her other releases its definitely the weak link. Not to mention its been made clear that its an incredibly diluted rendition of what she had in mind at the time going on to record out of the can songs (Wherever You Are, Out Alive, etc) only because the label didn't like the ones she preferred. Idk. Its not terrible or anything, but I don't even think its held up that well over the past 2 years. Its just fine and its underperformance was completely justified.
Hopefully this new album is more like Innocence & Pills/Machine Gun Love meets Animal/Cannibal.
