"American Idol" champ David Cook's 19 Recordings/RCA debut has been penciled in for a Nov. 18 release date. The set is being produced by Rob Cavallo and will likely include co-writes with Collective Soul's Ed Roland, Our Lady Peace's Raine Maida and Kara DioGuardi.
"I just want the record to be both eclectic and cohesive and have something to say," Cook told Billboard in July. "The music is rock and it's pretty undeniably me, which I'm pretty excited about." He added that "there's gonna be some interesting twists and turns ... that will keep people interested."
Today (Sept. 15), Cook launched a social networking component at DavidCookOfficial.com, where fans can interact with one another and receive news updates before the general public.
LMAO don't play dumb you know darn well who he his. He beat out your favorite David & I know that his 1st single is not going to sound like a generic BSB song
I wouldn't give Beyonce the win so fast...We need to see what kind of chart damge their singles will do, even though Beyonce will probably sell more, he got a big dan base so who knows, I just think he waited too long to release his first single...
