Sony being in debt has literally no effect on us, due to Sony's income being enough that no matter how much they are in debt, they still have enough income to keep their business alive.

As long as Sony's income doesn't drop for PlayStation's brand, PlayStation will stay alive.
If not, some other company can buy the PlayStation brand, but the PlayStation brand will operate the same, just under a new parent company.

The CocaCola company has made several of those. The company operate the same, just under a new parent company who now earn profit.

Money is literally no problem here.

The reason it's worse here is because they're allowed to get away with what they say due to their being a lot of immaturity and ignorance and there is few people knowledgeable put them down. If they tried this on Gaf or FAQ's, it would definitely be a different turnout and it wouldn't result with them and a "kii" (not in their favor, atleast).
