What the **** though why are y'all discussing genres. Isn't it like a major accomplishment that out of the 10 best selling consoles, 50% are Nintendo's? This kiddie demographic *all* of their 20 million+ selling games are aimed at, at least bring in that CASH.

Meanwhile, the PS3, XBOX360 and their *huge variety of genres and widespread demographic* lost in sales to the one and only kiddie games supplier

The Vita wasn't even stocked for 2 months to clear for the bundle and the 2000 debuted with the bundle.

Considering most of those games you mentioned are using sub genre's, they mostly come under one.

And when you count how much those games have of the Nintendo franchise, you're only left with less than 10 racing games, a few Animal Crossing games and a few Brain Age games.

Meanwhile, Sony just announced a Sandbox platformer, Racer, Hack n Slash, Science fiction and graphic adventure exclusives, none of which full under the same genre.

That is a lot of words saying nothing.

90% is still a pathetic lie even if we count sub genres. You probably wouldn't even make it to 40% if you actually sat down and counted (a skill we have already established that you lack).

Kids as a demographic are STILL not a genre. So you lied about that.

Nintendo's BIGGEST franchises are in the same genre. Pokemon, Mario, Metroid, Super Smash etc are all Action games. And they are the franchise's with the most games, hence 90%.

And I didn't "lie". I meant that kids was a demographic, but put a dash instead.

Action games is a genre with sub-genre's that are more precise.
Mario is a platformer = action.
Metroid is a shooter = action.
Pokemon is an action role playing game (it contains battle/fights) = action.

There is the list of sub-genre's for action.
