Justine Sacco, the PR exec who became a Twitter cause célèbre in December when her provocative tweet about Africa made the rounds, is back promoting the relaunch of Hot or Not.
Sacco, formerly of IAC, will help with the app's promotion and relaunch, according to BuzzFeed. The app, based on the once-hot website that rates people on their perceived comeliness, has been repurposed to use location-based data to point out the most attractive people in your vicinity. The app, which is now owned by the UK-based Badoo, will also curate customized Hot Lists based on how each user votes on fake profiles of celebrities.
