OMG, "Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words)" is my all-time favorite song, too . I hope she and Tony record it for C2C.
I hope so too! It'd be classy and really fitting for the space launch.. but we'll have to wait and see. I couldn't think of any standards off the top of my head and nothing has been confirmed. I'll change it when we get a tracklist.
This is a joint effort right and not just Tony's album with Gaga featuring, right? At least that is what I have understood. Would love to see some solo songs between the two of them. Hope we get lots of songs, not just ten or twelve! They usually go all out for these sort of things.
i'm predicting a september/october lead single and then a november album release.. but they're recording interviews and videos now because she'll be on tour then.
i can't believe the lead single could be directed by steven klein ... i can't imagine his work (Alejandro & FAME commercial) meshing with Cheek to Cheek .. at least we know the visuals will slay

I can already imagine the video. Tony and Gaga standing in a dimly lit room with minimal clothing. The camera pans to Tony's 12 inch Christian Louboutin heels while Gaga adjusts his leotard. The video then enters a 12 minute sequence consisting solely of Gaga and her dancers climbing up a giant statue of Tony Bennet in his archive Gianni Versace gold-trim tight-fit leotard while the song plays in the background. They reach the top of the statue in time for the final chorus, performing intense contemporary ballet/modern breakdance fusion choreography while the Tony statue looks off stoically into the distance. Once the chorus ends the song suddenly comes to a stop and the Tony statue's head slowly turns towards the camera. He stares at the camera for 30 seconds before ending the video with the words "ART... POP."
For the Grammys next year, they better submit DWUW for Pop Duo (I think it has a good shot tbh) and for Pop Solo, they should just submit Dope for the hell of it. It's got a much better chance than G.U.Y., not that that's saying much.
I just hope they don't do another 'The Lady Is A Tramp' video. I wish they come up with some really creative stuff so that she could snatch some VMAs nominations, maybe for both albuns!
