It has hardly been lacking. People just keep overrating her and when she's finally confronted with the actual reality of not always going straight up the victory ladder people are disappointed. I'm glad she's finally got a reality check and had to deal with conflicting situations that mirrored her selfish and very unexperienced decisions she has made so far.

Point taken. That is true, and it's what this season has been about for her. She hasn't made the best decisions, for sure.

I guess have a soft spot for her character and just wish we would see that drive and spirit from the earlier seasons and watch her succeed on what she first intended to do.

I thought the third dragon had ran off and is now killing people. Isn't that what the scene with the baby's bones is about?

I thought that could have been caused by any of the dragons. But you're right, I forgot about that.

when the Bran scene started with him being carried by Hodor i thought it would be Lady Stoneheart that's carried away being maybe unable to move or smth

then the camera got on Bran and the rest i was like oh not these again. but the scene turned out to be amazing.

What the hell @ those skeletons. I thought the wights were the creatures we see in the very first minutes of the pilot? This looked a little OTT. Apart from that, great episode. Especially Brienne/The Hound and Tyrion/Tywin. Still ****ing bummed about LSH though, it could've elevated this episode to the best one yet.

Argh **** D&D. Sorry I just have to vent it. Been eagerly waiting for this since the beginning of season 3. Really hope they provide some type of explanation.

Is it just me that thought for just a second that Cercei somehow managed to manipulate Jaime, persuaded him to be a part of her evil plan to stage a prison break for Tyrion, which lead him to Tywin, basically letting him kill their father, then while trying to escape, either the guards or Cercei herself kills Tyrion.

Then, Cerceoi would get exactly what she wanted. Tyrion dead, and Tywin out of the way so she would not be forced to marry that guy.

I swear, up until i saw Tyrion get into that boat and flee, i thought that was going to happen.

Maybe that Lena Headey's instagram photo was referring to what they're shooting now, not what is going to air in this season?

I'm eager to see D&D's excuses.

But putting aside my problem with the episode, it was the best finale of the series. But not the best episode of the season, imo. I wonder why they submitted this episode to the Emmys committee and not The Lion and the Rose, which had some of the best dialogue and acting of the season.
