It definitely will be interesting but I'm not okay with her lowering her standards just because she wants a hit. I want the material to be completely true to her.

If we know any better, the Dr. Luke/Max Martin material will be extremely POP and there'll be some pointless mindless hooks that are somewhat catchy so no thanks. She writes beautiful lyrics and I don't want them to be ruined somehow by their production or their additions/modifications to make it Pop and catchy.

But if they actually come up with something fantastic while still being true to Mariah herself, then I am fine with it.

I actually like Katy! But she sticks with them for a reason, tbh. And it is to make generic, feasible hits. Gaga can be generic but imo, she is less generic than Katy is tbh, and you'd have to agree. But let's not get into that because this discussion is about Mariah.

It is just that I cannot imagine Mariah giving up on her roots and going to them simply to get hits. No. Absolutely not. However, if Mariah wants to work with someone new or fresh, she can do it! I just hope she when she works with someone new and/or fresh, it still stays true to her roots and doesn't sell out just to get hits like Madonna is right now with Avicii.

About the radio commercial, I am seriously praying they also announce the new single on it! We were promised that the single would be released in June and it's already almost the end of the month! If the commercial says nothing about the single, I somewhat think an announcement is still possible for this week because if they're releasing in June like they said, the last adds date of the month is June 24th and then it's July 1st. And, of course, the sooner the better!

Mariah and her team is extremely STUPID for still holding out without any announcements or promo thus far. The album release was almost a month ago! Ugh **** Def Jam and Mariah.
