Nicki made Monster iconic. idc.
Without her it just would have been another Kanye & Jay song (if you know what i mean)
Like, Nicki causes an actual DISCUSSION when people talk about that song.
They just talk about her verse.
Ugh. Queen!
However! I do wonder if Monster was Nicki's song, with no one else on it, would it still be iconic or praised and A BIT forgotten, or on the same boat as Roman's Revenge. (Put your stan card away when answering this)
It'd be forgotten.
The reason her verse was so praised was because it was so good that she outshined (outshone?) the other artists on the song.

Of course it wouldn't. 98% of the praise (and this is a pretty accurate percentage) for Monster comes from the fact that she had a better verse than KANYE + JAY Z.

It'd be nice if she could tap into that place again.
Up two spots on the Australian Aria charts to #20 and its currently #13 on iTunes Australia plus getting really good radio play! I wonder why the song is doing so well here as opposed to the UK and US, hopefully its a sign PnP will eventually smash the US and UK as well

Well, songs that smash in AUS usually smash in the US later on. That doesn't usually apply with the UK, though.
