I agree with the radio point - Sam's in advantage because of the songs being played. The worldwide sales, excluding the US, are not relevant, I agree here also.
However, the fact that the remix, her hit, doesn't represent the new sound, is not that relevant. People buy a record because of the brand, the name Lana del Rey, and I'm sure that many will buy the album blindly (for example seeing the CD at Target etc.) expecting more of the remix-stuff or BTD-sound. Possible disappointment will settle in afterwards but the sale will then already been made and counts.
