Had this been released in 2004 nobody will be dragging her they will be eating this up because she was THAT chick. But since she's now 44 and in an industry where agism and sexism for women over 40 is very apparent they want to draq her and ridicule her hard work. But it's koo, let's see if it's funny when most of these tweens faves can barely sell 11M in one era, have a single that tops more than 21 countries in the world, or have the Best Selling Single of the Year at even 35, nevermind pass 40 years old.
Anyway, now to think of think this would have been the perfect album that should have been but never was in 2004 between TIMT & Rebirth! The sound fits right in!

Girl, stop with these excuses. Not even in her prime her best songs were praised. It's not because of ageism that she is flopping, it's because her bad taste in Music. Ageism didn't stop On The Floor or Dance Again of being hits, not even I'm Into You.
You girls and JLo got stuck on time, somewhere between 2001 to 2003 and this has damaged Your Music perception in unprecedented ways.
The album is good for the fans cause it really represents who she is and what made u guys love her, it's a good point but she doesn't have fans enough to sell an album, so u stop with these excuses and start to think like a hater or a general person, and I'm sure a general person that u ask on the street about her music will not mention ageism as a reason, they will definitely say that her music sucks and her lyrics are dumb, and this would suck and be dumb in 2004, 2002, 1999, any year!!!!!!

Better keep with the only formula that made people want to watch her and buy her than these nonsense lyrics and indie urban/pop that nobody aside you cares. Not necessarily RedOne and Afrojack, there are better options out there now.
But in my perfect album only Booty would be there. Chris brown was right, dance music is what people want from Jlo. PERIOD.
No mid tempos, no ballads.
If she managed to do a FULL DANCE ALBUM with EDM and these ratchet heavy bops, then this would change the game for her.

Or u dear Debby believe that JLo can sell mid tempos these days? If it's hard for her to sell a dance song imagine a mid tempo... Or an album full of mid tempos, that only fans care about!
By the way, does anybody have any news if she shot a full music video for Booty? That beat is insane. It needs a high budget video like Enrique's Bailando with dozens of black girls dancing in the street.

So she should record only songs which maybe will sell ?? If that's how it's supposed to be then she can stop recording.
And btw you can blame for this your beloved RedOne who forced her to release LIU, an old EDM song from 2011.

Kurama spilling tea everywhere. It's great that her stans love the album, but that doesn't really change how almost everyone else sees it.

Girl, If RedOne didn't save her in 2011, we wouldn't even be here discussing about her now.
Live It Up had 100 million views in one year. ILYP will need three to reach it: The GP wants Dance from her (doesn't really matter what kind of dance tho)
Jennifer Lopez is not a real singer, she is a performer, a commercial artist, so yes, she should only do what sells, because if she doesn't have a great voice, fans enough or critical acclaim, that's the only thing that still can make her relevant in music or someone aside her fans will check her indie old dated midtempos in 2020? Hell no.

Live It Up would have been one of the best songs on the album had it been included on it. I don't know why ha hardcore stans hate the dance sound so much. It was a nice reinvention for her if you ask me...I still enjoy the album as it is and will be purchasing it but obviously it'll underperform so I'm hoping she'll record some dance songs again because of that.

Don't get me wrong. I love Dance Again and even Live it up, the problem is she overused the same formula and didnt even try to be creative with EDM sound. That's why Im sick of it.

U begged for this kind of music that she is doing and nobody cares more than once, now you're going to read it more than once too.
It's not like I'm throwing shade on her, it's a good critic to alert the fans, and as u can clearly see (even though do not admit) MOST people agree with what I Say. Hopefully more fans will spread it and her team will wake up.

I love Dance-Lo too <3 <3 but expecting from her full EDM album is just an awful idea.
Let's hope Booty smashes
btw, Kurama still I dk why you're here ... your opinion about Jennifer and her music is just ......

Not true. Even non stans here and on twitter love the new album. Every artist will have lovers and haters, thats normal. But you are doing absolutely the most as a "stan", especially here where certain stanbases just wait for something to hang on.
Be smarter then that. If you are a stan, cuz you know there's only few of us here
And I couldnt care less if she underperforms, I wasnt this happy since Rebirth. I will NOT let anything kill this masterpiece of an album for me. Especially you.

I agree with this, but if you follow her since her beginning u know that she was always known for overusing formulas and jumping in trends, so what's the issue with it now? Or I'm Real/All I Have/Hold U Down is not the same formula?
It's possible to create dance songs and still being versatile and fresh: booty is an example, Jason Derulo is serving EDM/Urban properly right now the way I always pictured her doing.
No more midtempos. NO MOOOORE.

Hahaha who are the ones loving it? If there are so many people loving it why they are not BUYING it. Lol, only u girls and a small amount of people liked it and the final proof is coming this week with her 35k sold, and if u don't see the general people that listened to the album criticizing her (I don't know where I have been btw) it's probably because she became so irrelevant in music that nobody cared to loose time commenting).
Nobody is buying this for a reason, hope u can understand it.
