Or country for people not in the states. I'll start. I'm from California.
i. People over-romanticize it, like come on, California isn't just LA. In fact, Los Angeles smells like piss and looks like a post-apocalyptical mess most of the time.
ii. Its so ****ing hot. The other day, it was 100 degrees at eight at night. Unacceptable @god.
i. I'm two hours from the beach, two hours from the snow, and two hours from the desert.
ii. So many opportunities.

2. ......i got nothing
1. this is more of a 'my town' thing rather than the state as a whole, but im 2-3 hours away from the major cities (Charlotte, Greensboro & Raleigh) and there's nothing really entertaining to do unless you go to one of those. and im like 6 hours from the beach
2. the weather is so bipolar during winter & spring (one day in April it snowed and the next day it was 70 degrees) and it messes with my allergies
1. Natural scenery with TONS of green.
2. Very liberal place with one of the best school systems in the country.

1. There's always construction.
2. The amount of snow we receive. Plus, in the winter is gets to about -25 F (-31.6 C) and in the summer it goes about 105 F (40.5 C) in some cases. The worst of two worlds.
Love:
1. The mountains. Some of the best in the USA
2. The people are really accepting for the most part and some of the most fit in the US
Hate:
1. The bipolar weather. There are literally days that it's been 70 degrees, snowed, and rained in a 12 hour period
2. The government, but that goes for the US as a whole
1. Everybody here is shading and killing Gays
2. The Texas Education Agency (AKA sh**heads who thinks if you fail the state test, you have to restart eight grade

2. There are younger people that are accepting of Gays
I am planning on studying hard to get out of this hellhole and move to California or NYC for a happier life.
- Good weather, despite being hot. It's better than having the threat of hurricanes or tornadoes.
- very accepting of gays, especially here in the Southern part of the state
- The age of consent to have sex is 18, which in my opinion is ****ed because I think 16 is good enough.
- Wildfire and earthquake threats
