I've never been to Queen Brazil but why does it look so fun to live there? Samba, carnival, beaches, never cold, macumbas, it sounds so fun and exciting. All the people who I know and visited it said it was so much fun.

Why?

Brazil is a beautiful place to be! The people are not unhappy, the weather is great most of the year.

I mean yeah it's pretty much always sunny in here and stuff, but it's mostly a mess tbh.

Actually Brazil is pretty bad, the American media glorifies them to be the ultimate exotic people with the ultimate exotic getaway when in reality the country is a mess with high crime rates and high poverty rates

Frankly it looks pretty terrible to me. No offense but I've just watched two critically acclaimed movies, City of God and Elite Squad 2, and the portrayal of Brazil (and these are Brazilian movies so they know what they're talking about!) is far from positive. Favelas galore. Total corruption. Murders everywhere.

In 2012 Brazil had a murder rate SIX TIMES higher than that of the United States!

The south of Brazil is always cold and somestimes it snows there.

I'm from Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) and i can tell it's not that good...

Don't get me wrong, i like living here, but........ i would like to live in somewhere else tbh.

And Brazil is not a wonderland like the government sells this image to the ''gringos''. The people who live here knows about the true tea.

Naw.. it's not what the media makes it out to be. Of course it's a beautiful country with great people, and obviously there are people there that live well and luxuriously but the country's government is so corrupt. I have family there and it devastates me hearing about what they go through. They face serious issues with education, health, crime, racism, infrastructure, etc. and the poverty is absolutely horrible. But all people from the outside see is flashing lights, parties, and big butts... but I promise you they are all just regular people, not sex robots. You'd be in for a BIG shock. It just makes me mad because this glorification leads to people not caring. I mean just the other day someone said Brazil's government is corrupt and a user replied saying "Who cares if they're corrupt when they look like **** stars!" ...Like

I've been to Brazil and the people there are the friendliest and the men! damn

Crime, corruption, poverty, drugs and gangs. Ew.

Guys, Brazil is not like that. I'm from the Southern part of the country, and it's mainly cold there (snows in the winter) and people are just like me.. A bunch of white asses, we're not hot and tanned.

It's so funny to see people from other countries talking **** about a country they have never been to. Just shut up.

But yeah, in the other hand i forgot to say that people here are nice, likeable, etc. Not gonna lie, this is truth. We have beautiful places to visit too.
