I can’t believe that Uruguay lost to Costa Rica of all teams. 1-3! I guess Uruguay pull a “Spain”. I can only imagine the criticism my grandma would be giving to both teams since she really has passion for soccer. She even criticize my brother’s FIFA 14 skills even when he won. She watched the Spain game during her dialysis yesterday and she is in her apartment right now.
As for England/Italy game-the game was not bad, but it could’ve been better. I mean really better. In the first half, mostly everyone play well though they weren’t that much spectacular moments in that half. In the second half, after the big bad Balotelli made his goal, both teams were playing awful. England couldn’t take advantage of Italy just letting themselves go. Rodney did well in the first half with his assist to the good Sturridge. But in the second, Rodney either misses his shot or kicks too hard up. Still, a good game that got me pumped. Regardless, the World Cup is sure something and kinda unpredictable and a mess. Costa Rico on top of their group, Spain dead last in theirs. Damn.
I guess I can stick around for Ivory Coast Vs. Japan. Maybe. I want to jump on the flag sig bandwagon too.
many of the Americans who call it soccer originated from England. The American version of the sport wouldn't exist had the original sport not originated from England. I don't see your point. No one in England calls it soccer, even if the word did originate from here.
