I thought about this too, but this was me letting atrl skew what a songs chart performance is. The song could be doing better but it won't effect that date, especially since she hasn't told people yet.

Extra letters are really only added when the artist has another release with a similar name (i.e. Drunk in Love being DrIL since she has Dangerously in Love already.)

But, then again, it is up to you. There really aren't any concrete rules for abbreviations... Actually, I'm sure there are, but I don't think anyone cares on this forum.
