I know that she was supporting the free nipple campaign and protesting instagram's nudity regulations, but there was still an element of attention-seeking to it. And if the whole second paragraph is filled with pretty dumb logic, then counter it. Calling someone's opinions dumb without justifying why you feel that way is, in itself, dumb.
I have no problem with women, or men for that matter, just people in general, being topless in the right environment. If she were a female or a male, and was lying down topless in central park tanning, then that's completely fine. Who cares? It's just a nipple. But she's walking down the street where there could be kids or a restaurant with people eating. And when I say there could be children around, or people eating, I'm not saying that because she's a woman. I don't give a **** about the size of someone's areola. It's the fact that someone's walking around in public topless. If it were a man, people would still be uncomfortable by the fact he was shirtless. Restaurant owners would still say "hey mate, can you put a top on, you're making our diners uncomfortable and we're trying to run a business here" and mothers/fathers would still think "why is that man walking around topless...is he strung out on drugs or something..."
And it is a waste of cops' time. I saw a video on youtube of some woman walking around New York topless and 2 sets of police were called to the situation (so 4 cops on scene) to stand around while she just stood there screaming at them about how it was legal. That's a waste of the police's time.
