I didn't know you liked Kelly Clarkson, Matt! She's fantastic. I have her entire discography on my iPod. Her Christmas album is FLAWLESS (my favorites are "Underneath the Tree" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"), and I love a lot of her other songs. "Already Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes", "Since U Been Gone", "My Life Would Suck Without You", "I Do Not Hook Up", "Cry", "Don't Let Me Stop You", "I Forgive You", "Stronger", "Don't You Wanna Stay", "The War Is Over", "Save You", "Because of You", and a lot of her other songs are just incredible. She has one of the greatest voices of all-time.
Anyways... I saw Paul's Tweets. Do you guys think Adele will attend these awards? I asked him if the "something big" involved Adele in any way. I highly doubt it, and if it's true, he won't respond, but I'm desperate. Although it's not broadcast worldwide, is it? I wanted to watch it but it sounds like it can only be watched in Europe. I'm guessing more details will become available in the next few months. I need a new single from her by the end of summer, though. I can't live off of rumors much longer.
By the way, I agree with the comments about "Make You Feel My Love" not being a great wedding song just because if you think about it, it's actually about trying to prove to someone that you love them when they're unsure if they love you. "One and Only" is more appropriate although I like "Make You Feel My Love" a tad more. "Someone Like You" is an odd choice for a funeral song but I guess if the lyrics were altered a bit it could be appropriate in the sense that the person is moving on to a bigger and better place?
And I'd also like to add that if she sticks to her typical release schedule and releases the album in January, I'll be fine with it but if we get it earlier I'll be fine as well. I can't wait any longer than January, though. This is getting to be ridiculous. I have confidence in her that she's smart enough to know when the time is right but I just hope that her taking her time to perfect the album really pays off in the long run.
