I own four Macs and none of them are computable with Apple TV.

So ATV is basically useless unless I stream from my iPad. And that's very limited compared to a Mac.

Yeah you can basically download the games directly to the console.

The only games you stream are PS3 games, but Sony said they are going to add PS3 games later down the line (probably once the PS3 is discontinued in 2015).

They better hurry Sony, Nintendo and are all killing their consoles early this gen.

Saying that though, there were still Xbox, GBA & DS games after all of those were discontinued.
PS2 was kept on for 13 years There were still PS2 games in 2013.

But PS Vita's can play PS3 games, so if anything they will just move the projects to that. And since the PSTV is aimed at Vita and PS3 games, people will still be able to play them, even without owning a PS3.

So who knows tbh.
