Why is it that a PETA group or member always attacks the celebrity wearing the fur? They never attack the people who actually KILL THE ANIMALS that turn them into fur for the celebs to wear.

The same reasons we do I assume

Attacking celebs gets them the most attention. "Protestor hits factory worker" won't get readers but "Protestor hits Beyoncé" definitely will.

It's all about publicity.

They're extremists. They feel that by attacking the people that popularize fur it will somehow convince them and others to stop buying it.

They actually do that too. Just gets less (or no) attention, proving why criticizing celebrities is the best way to get attention. No one care how many undercover videos of animal abuse occurring they put out.

Edit: That's not to mention that Peta at points was considered a terrorist organization for it's views on (and ties to) using force as a tool to propel change.

No its not. celebrities publicize it so if they get celebrities to stop, others will somewhat follow..

I think they should work on closing animal farms and contacting designers that use fur and stuff if they want a change not going to flour bomb people like kim kardashian that just makes her fans hate PETA & more publicity for the celebrity they attacked

To them, any press is good press and they seem to get the most attention for attacking the hot trends/celebs of the moment to get their vitriolic message out there.

its how marketing works honey. they is here marketing their BRAND (not charity work) by doing a ton of publicity and grabbing headlines/attention.
