Q: Will the Wii U ever outsell the Xbox One or PlayStation 4?

A: The dirty little secret is if you look at life-to-date numbers, between Sony and Nintendo they’d be pretty close in terms of PS4 vs. Wii U, with Xbox coming in third place. I think it’s going to be a three-horse race for the balance of this cycle.

Well this Reggie guy has a lot of confidence, yes, dropping AAA games like Smash and Mario and Fox will help the sales but it's not like they're releasing them each year so...

Obviously the Wii U has sold more than Xbox One because it has been out longer but we'll see.

Do these people realize they were out an entire year earlier and Sony has already caught up to them in less than a year? I love me some Nintendo but they got to get it together.

I've always loved Nintendo and Sony more than any other combo. Granted, this is about right but Sony should clean this era out unless Wii U magically picks up steam in the US for a year straight.

Xbox won't be a factor if it doesn't get that "Halo" for this generation.

Halo is pretty much the only exclusive that brings in Xbox fans.
I mean people are still buying the 360 instead of moving to the Xbox One.

If the XO was doing really well, then it would be different. But it's only sold around 3 million.

Microsoft have started saying "shipped" instead of "sold" when they announce stats. Pretty much means they aren't shifting units.

Nintendo really impressed me at E3, If they can keep the quality 1st party games coming and lock in a few AAA 3rd party games they might be successful.
