Late to the party as usual. I would’ve like to live chat w/ you guys since you guys are having so fun in this thread, but I was busy with my online quiz and study guide.
I just saw the Mexico- Cameroon game on my DVR and it was an exciting game to say the least. Too bad for Mexico that their two goals were disallowed. Oh well, they have a penalty goal to be proud of. Man, the Mexico fans love to get drunk and show their Mexican pride. They’re so happy.
¿Qué pasó con España? Is the question I and pretty much everyone has on their mind. That Spain-The Netherlands. Netherlands ram past the mid-field and Spain’s defense was pitiful. Ramos and Piqué, they were so bad to the point of hilarious. Looks like Piqué had too much of Waka Waka from Shakira. I guess he was still distracted by the lonely goddess. I feel bad for the goalie esp. every time they got scored, his expression was either in sadness, in disgusted or in emotionless. The goalie was embarrassed and it didn’t help that due to poor defense, he had to do what he can himself, but he flopped. It’s more of the defense fault than the goalie since there was a moment when the goalie blocked two straight goal shots. I mean really. Too bad the only goal Spain got was from that penalty goal that shouldn’t not happen since the refs are terrible at their jobs. I’m convinced that refs can’t do anything right. I bet they even botch rigging the game if they were bribed. Too bad that one Spain goal didn’t count. The player was only at the line not pass it. I would’ve let Spain have that goal. Oh well. Not looking good for the champs so far. To think that this match was the final for the World Cup 4 years ago and the score was 1-0. Now, it’s 1-5. Man, the World Cup in 2010 was exciting and alive. I remember in 2010 being a happy time in life, World Cup and in ATRL. OMG was my song for the built-up for the World Cup. I guess Dare is my WC song for this year. This WC has been exciting only because of the hilarity ensures. Well, I guess this game was still better for the wrong entertaining reasons than the unmemorable final back 10’. Props for the Netherlands players esp. Robin! van! Persie! And Robben. Too much going on to say more.
Chile vs. Australia was another game of good game play and awesome moments. The second and third Chile goal were awesome. When the first two fast goals made, I knew that Australia was done. However, Australia kinda prove me wrong when they tried their hardest to win esp. in the second half when Chile seem to lose their pace. Good goal by the Red Bull player Tim Cahill. Impressed by him throughout the game. Still I’m right that Australia didn’t have luck in their side. Regardless, Chi Chi Chi, Le Le Le takes this, Both team exceed my expectations. Like all three games and all of them were either good or great. Better than Yesterday. Funny that the Mex-Cam game was the only game that I got both the score and team right.
The amounts of gifs, Photoshop photos, and tweets from the World Cup so far is so damn funny. I’m enjoying it this so far with all of its entertainment. I really can’t wait what is to come tomorrow. I didn’t even realize it was Friday the 13th so I guess that might explain the poor and bizarre performance of Spain.
Some journalists in Spain are saying that one of the problem is that Spain has been training the days before the match in a place where the temperatura was of 10ºC and Nethelands in a place where there were 30ºC and the match has been in a place where the temperature was 30ºC so phisically Spanish players had had a lot of problems because of that.
the excuses but why would you do that when you know it'll be hot and your players have to get used to it? Stupid planning.
That way ifSpain won both matches it would clasify 100% sure!
Edit: Oh that if Netherlands wins both remaining games too
I can imagine a scenario like that:
Spain wins with Chile and Australia - 6 points
Netherlands wins with Spain and Australia - 6 points
Chile wins with Nettherlands and Australia - 6 points
3 teams have 6 points so goals will be taken into account and Spain is already down 4 goals
