Discussion: Why is the "Top or Bottom?" question used so loosely?

Why do gays throw that question seconds within talking to each other? I think it's disgusting for somebody to ask when I have no intention to tell them what my own sexual preference is.

I may just be sensitive but it's annoying for somebody to ask without knowing me and assuming I'm up for sexual things rather than a conversation

I don't practice anal sex so it's always funny when people ask me "top or bottom?" on grindr and I say "um neither..."

its obviously a very personal question that you only ask if your getting intimate. what annoys me tho is ppl who get offended about that question when the person has the intention to have *** with the other. its like wth? dont you both have to know what you like before getting in bed together only to find out yall are both bottoms? awkward lol
