Tyler, The Creator has revealed that he hates rapping and no longer wants to be associated with it.
In an interview with Larry King, Tyler - who is part of rap collective Odd Future - spoke about his ambitions to sing and compose music.
'I really wanna sing but my tone of voice is too deep to do what I want," he said.
The rapper, whose real name is Tyler Okonma, revealed that he's been listening to deep-toned vocalists including Barry White and studying how they use their voices.
The 'Yonkers' rapper responded to King's assertions that it was rapping which had made him famous, asserting: "I hate rapping, only because it puts you in this box.
"I just wanna compose music... I'm talented enough to do other things. I'm pretty bored with [rapping], it's not interesting."
He should get up from his lazy butt and release something, or at least create some buzz instead of talking about what he thinks he wants to do, and shading other hard-working artists
