This is the story of the legendary Jordan buck!
In 1914 in Burnett County, Wisconsin, James Jordan shot a 400-lb buck with his .25-20.
His taxidermist stole the trophy, but it turned up 44 years later at a yard sale in Hinckley Minnesota. It was officially measured and scored 206-1/8 points per Boone and Crockett.
It remained the world record buck until 1993 and it remains in 2nd place today!
I reckoned some y'all would find this story interesting!
