Please get a grip. This is not about superiority. Maybe for some people it is, but that's not the point. What this is about is safety, practicality and efficiency in the preparation/delivery of a major worldwide event. If developing countries cannot effectively host events like this then they should NOT be chosen. It does not make anybody ignorant to see these pictures and realise that Brazil has FAILED to prepare effectively. Accept that, please.
Unless these pictures are not current, there really is no defence to that. We are talking billions of dollars worth of investment into this kind of thing. Only first world countries can guarantee that it will be done properly.
