I don't get the hate for it either. It's not my favorite, but I don't think its as horrible as everyone is making it out to be. But, I favor Paradise over Born To Die as a cohesive body of work, so...

I'm so angry that Cruel World doesn't have "let the light in... it's a cruel, cruel world" in it. I thought those lyrics were so beautiful. Now the song doesn't even have the title in it.

Yes..... It is definitely VERYYYY slow, but the way they used her vocals to create a chorus within her voice, it's insane how breathtaking her voice sounds in all the songs! This album has some flaws, but that's what is making this album so perfect. I can't say yet if it's better than BTD, but this one has MUCHHHH more depth! And ****ing "Florida Kilos" slays!!!

but "Black Beauty" and "Brooklyn Baby" are by far the standouts for me, and of course the epic "Florida Kilos"..
