I think so too. We'll probably never know the truth but I also get those vibes. She got a hit single and he got to be with a hot woman so it wasn't too bad I guess, but it sucks that they couldn't work it out.
It doesn't even seem like they tried to make it work though...
you'd think they'd try a little harder after making 'I Will Never Let You Down'. I'm guessing it was Rita's lack of effort since Calvin ended it, but this story is just all kinds of bad.
