Which is why the FIFA President has been getting dragged relentlessly. He and FIFA keeps choosing these countries that just don't have the infrastructure and means to pull off these games. I mean.. South Africa [They pulled it off], Brazil, Qatar, Russia [see Sochi]?

There's a huge controversy right now over Qatar basically buying their FIFA bid. Even the President admitted it was a mistake. FIFA might have to reconsider and choose a new host for 2022.

Idk why these sporting committees are trying to be all innovative with these developing country hosts. The Olympics too. At least, 2020 is Tokyo's and they obviously won't have any problems.

The fact remains that their existing infrastructure is not up to standards for an event like this. Like 80% of the stadiums they're using need to be built

Not to mention their 120F temperatures in June/July.
Their team never even qualifying for a world cup.
Their modern slave labor immigration policy.
The hundreds of workers who have died building said planned infrastructure.

And they bought their bid so.
