Brian Wilson has been working on a new album for some time.
According to an upcoming Rolling Stone article the Beach Boys singer posted on his website, "songs in contention" for inclusion on the album feature appearances from Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey, Zooey Deschanel, and country singer Kacey Musgraves. "This project blows my mind," Wilson is quoted as saying. "I had no idea we could pull this off!"
Ocean is described as "potentially" featuring on a song called "Special Love", while Deschanel will appear on the "space-age bossa nova" "On the Island". Del Rey's "Last Song" is apparently "haunting," while Musgraves' "Sharing a New Day" is "sassy."
