As a fellow woman I feel dissapointed in Madonna. Lemme explain my back ground to all this.
I grew up with Madonna, danced to Like a Prayer and like every kid in the 80s you wanted to be just like her.
That power she has not lost in my eyes but the thing that bugs me is that she's trying so hard to proof that she's young to the extend that she uses blurry pics and stuff like that. Like comon woman YOU ARE MADONNA. Why is it a shame in society to be afraid of aging and why, with her being her, would she want to dance to that drum as well. She could be a pioneer for the pop generation now to age with grace and substance. Laying just another pavement for other females to walk on later.
So basically I am dissapointed in her for conforming to shallow standards (where she usually does not) that in order to be relevant she needs to still look young (that's how it comes across to me). I feel that is a missed opportunity for her with regards to her fellow female artists and women in general.
Madonnas weaknesses are her vocals and her post-COAF quality control. You could consider her personality a weakness or a strength depending on your personal preference.
