R&B songstresses and reality stars Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt recently did an interview where they were asked to comment on the Blue Ivy’s untamed mane. Needless to say, they didn’t hold back.
KeKe Wyatt and Tamar Braxton know a thing or two about raising kids and the reality TV moms shared their thoughts on one of today’s most controversial baby manes.
As guests on Ryan Cameron’s morning radio show, the ladies were asked about a recently released picture of the famous Carter family. In it, Blue Ivy’s tresses are less than tamed.
While people have come to Blue’s defense in the past, at 2 years old, many questioned why the baby’s hair wasn’t a bit more controlled.
“She’s giving me ODB,” Syleena Johnson said, referencing former Wu Tang Clan member Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
KeKe and Tamar agreed that Blue’s hair could benefit from some TLC in the form of conditioning and styling.
“Ain’t nothing wrong with being natural. I got natural, but you still got to grease natural and comb natural and wash and condition and then you won’t have the beadiage,” said KeKe who admits she sometimes combs her children’s hair against their will.

Tamar also added her two cents in during the interview, but made sure to emphasize that she “wasn’t throwing shade.” Riiiiigght.
Tamar suggested Beyoncé and Jay-Z find hair products that would enhance her natural ‘do.
“It just needs some product. That’s it. No shade,” said Tamar. “I have a nephew who has really, really curly hair like this. It ain’t that bad.”
No shade, but your child has nappy ass hair and it needs work. Okay.
Like, if you really care, why are you making public comments about it, instead of privately bringing it up to Bey or Jay. And why are interviewers asking them about a baby's hair, a baby that has nothing to do with them? Absolute death all around.
Before yall come in here and drag Tamar, if you watch the video, she didn't drag anything or mean it that way.
Still though, the baby has nothing to do with Tamar. She should've been like "not my child, no comment". Imagine if some other random celebrity said something about her baby, she'd be like MYOB
They're not saying it with malicious intent y'all. I don't know anything about how black babies' hair is supposed to be cared for but maybe they're just looking out. I mean if I was a baby I would wanna look cute!!
