I was just looking to serebii and i saw the new game X and Y and i never played it but the pokemons were looking quite good. but i can't say the same about Black and white
my faves stays at the Silver and Gold games.

Kanto pokemon will always remain my favorite. After that it's Johto and then Kalos.

I honestly feel the same for Kanto and Johto Pokemon. Sometimes I forget they're from different generations. They're my favorite, and then after that it's Hoenn, and then X and Y.

What else besides making it great did they do?

Gen 3/ RSE had the best Pokemon in my opinion.

I'd say 3>4>2=6>5=1

Gen 5 and 1 are last because ..
Gen 5 has few cingeworthy ones like the elemental monkeys and Gen 1 is overall just basic

Edit: But i have to say Gen 5 is pretty underrated. It gets way to much hate ...sadly

Sinnoh > Johto > Hoenn > Kalos > Unova > Kanto

Gen IV introduced the best designs imo.

V is underrated and III is overrated.
