She will never go the route of a full album of MM songs. Clive Davis wanted her to do a full pop record after winning AI and she told him no. I suspect we will get some pop leaning songs and a few rock and roll type songs but she will never do a MM record.
Carrie's loyalty to the country genre is more important to her than a flash in the pan hits that nobody will remember 10 years from now. She is not going to sell herself out for the mighty dollar.
