Frances Ethel Gumm, better known as Judy Garland, was born on June 10, 1922. The American actress and singer was one of the greatest entertainers who ever lived! She was known for her remarkably unique voice. Her career spanned 40 years and she attained international fame as an actress in dramas and musicals and also as a recording artist.
The Wizard of Oz achieved tremendous critical success in her career. It turned out to be the most successful commercial adaptation of the 1900 novel of the same name, and the film which notably used Technicolor. This movie was significantly an aesthetic addition to Garland’s career.
