You guys are acting so elitist. Nobody's asking for Dr. Luke, but let's not act like the production isn't hindering these new songs. Emile was far better, sorry if that some how makes me an airhead pop fan with bad taste

I love Dan Auerbach's production and he's far better than Emile in my opinion. The whole UV Sound sounds better than the BTD sound !

If you love the over-use of the same effects over & over again, not just for Lana, but also other artists like Bruno Mars, great for you. That's what Emile makes most of the time. I love the album, it made me a stan, but anybody who has listened to the demos knows that Emile sucked the life out of them sometimes.
This production perfectly suits the songs. I honestly don't know how songs like Shades of Cool or Brooklyn Baby would have sounded (and how awful it would have been) if Emile put his hands on it.
