Also when Rihanna showed up at the CFDA's people were outraged at her wearing a mesh dress, while Gaga also wore a mesh dress with her breasts also exposed when she won her icon award at the CFDA's....so why the double standard?

Rihanna grew up in the public eye and she's not as controversial with her looks as Gaga.

Gaga's shock value wore off. She can still create buzz, but she went too hard too fast with the controversial looks.

I never understood why Gaga is allowed to walk around literally naked and nobody cares but if any other female celebrity so much as shows too much cleavage it's some national emergency. I've heard people say that gaga is talented so she can show skin but so are other girls like Xtina and they still get flack for it? Doesn't make any sense.
