It's annoying when they come for someone else's fave as if they actually know or care enough about their own "fave" to drag someone else.

These Charli bandwagoners that literally showed up over night are highly irritating.

As perhaps the most notorious bandwagoner out there, I shift because I have a short attention span. You'll notice I don't just switch to the #1 on the Hot 100 of the week. I can't tell you why people do that.

Also, anyone who brings up my Ariana phase, I still like ha and it's going strong.

Why do people think bandwagoning is such a bad thing? That's how artists obtain new fans and more of an audience. It's really not that big of deal. At least a lot of bandwagoners actually BUY the music unlike a lot of people who call themselves stans

I think there's some confusion in here as to what people are talking about when they complain about bandwagoners. Bandwagoners, to me and I believe to the OP, are people who only get into the artist once they're successful and only stay with them as long as they're successful. They're not in it so much for the music or the artist but for the success and bragging rights. They won't even listen to an artist unless they've got a top ten single or whatever.

I don't begrudge people for simply being late to getting into an artist. That's just absurd. The more (who are actually in it for the music), the merrier!
