So like I know "all PromKing posts about is Dubai" but whatever anyway, so when the show was revealed I was banned and some of the comments were a real mess so here's an essay-esque post clarifying some things about the most talked about artRAVE date.
Ticket prices:
The show is expensive; it is
SLIGHTLY more expensive than the Madonna show.
Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry & Usher all had tickets which cost 1,000 DHS or more.
The expensive tickets = suites = air conditioned rooms that come with food and are usually bought by companies for their staff and/or PR representatives to attend the show.
Gaga doesn't benefit from the ticket sales, she will be paid the requested price. The money made from the show goes to the organizers and not her team.
The censorship:
Gaga will be TAMING the show as in the full set list will go own but with less touching and diff. costumes.
Aura will be performed. There is no need for it to be cut off (hint: there's a reason she changed the original title.)
Sexxx Dreams is the ONLY song that will probably get cut off.
Born This Way will be performed just like Macklemore performed Same love.
She essentially isn't forced to do this since JlO stripped on stage in March at the Dubai World Cup which was attended by a lot of high profile people.
To the very much transparent people saying that a true artist wouldn't compromise their integrity remember that everyone toned their show down one way or the other including Madonna who didn’t flash her ****** in Abu Dhabi but did on the next date onward.
Gaga's history in Dubai:
Gaga never CANCELLED a show in the UAE, she was approached by an event management company and they didn’t like her price so refused to bring her and released a statement saying that they never will bring her.
Bonus:
NOT everyone in Dubai is rich, some of us are lucky like I managed to get my ticket the second it went on sale without thinking of the loss whilst others are getting part time jobs/ saving up/saved up for this. There are parts of the COUNTRY and CITY in which are less privileged(still better than lots of countries.)
Finally, concerts in Dubai are attended by people in:
Oman
Bahrain
Saudi Arabia
Qatar
Kuwait
Jordan
Lebanon
Egypt
India
People from those countries FLY out for the shows which is what always makes concerts here so diverse when it comes to the audience.
If you are not attending the show, this doesn't and shouldn't affect you and if you going that you are familiar with the laws of the country and should be glad that she’s respecting them which means she can be invited back, stop complaining.
To the monsters rubbing the ticket prices/slayage in other people's faces:

Jakarta
Dubai and Jakarta have little to nothing similar, so stop trying to connect the two countries together, the problem with Gaga's Jakarta shows was that people were protesting HER and didn't want HER, even if they were promised a censored show they wouldn't have done it.
Most importantly, Dubai is a CITY and not a COUNTRY.
