Reading lyrics before listening to a song?
Do you do this? Does it give you an impression of what the song is going to sound like? Chandelier reads like a generic dance song but when you listen to it, it comes alive and grabs you like a bird in the night.

I prefer to do the opposite. I like to experience the "Ugh what does she say here? *checks lyrics* Oh makes sense now!"

I knew BTW by heart (?) as we got the lyrics before the song was out

Nah, I usually get to know a song before I check out the proper lyrics.
