Anyways, I wouldn't mind January as long as we get ****ing something this year. It'll be much quieter and she could have all the slayage to herself.

Plus it'll be difficult to outsell Frozen in such a short time and I ain't settling for the number 2 selling album of the year, when people will just call her a flop if that happens.

edit: Plus all of her albums have come out in January. Single in November, album in January.

They are stupid to miss out on November/December sales. Thats a huge loss as it will not sell as much in january even though it will still be big obviously. But not as big.

They should get in the studio and work their butts off to get it out November.

Thats simply just not true. Adele doesn't need to do that. 21 has shown that first week sales doesn't matter but longevity does. Adele can release anytime she wants and she will still do well

you can't compare it to 21 at this stage. Obviously this album is expected to fly out the gate with HUGE sales up front as well as longevity. Fact is its far less likely to get those huge sales in january than pre-christmas. People buy music as christmas gift and Adele appeals to all age groups so thats massive potential sales for her new album.

Big big mistake missing out on that.

Which will end up burning the album out faster Either ways Adele should be fine. There are potential benefits of waiting a month or two after the holiday season. She will practically have all the spotlight on herself while the big named releases already burned themselves out.
