I think this "unspecified production issues" might be because she wouldn't be able to promote her own material in the ceremony, so she decided not to go.

Did they not pay her enough? I mean, J.Lo is basically the highlight of the song. No offense but no one aside from Brazilians is really interested in Claudia Leitte and Pitbull, well it's Pitbull.
